This is a list of my go-to sites about Service Design, UX and a little CX. I like to check these sites every few days for new content. It keeps me busy but also up to date with the latest trends in the industry and keeps my head full of fresh ideas. It's always good to do some reasearch if you're a little stuck for ideas about how to do something. These sites usually help me past any blockages.
Really well written, and easy to read articles about Service Design. Lots of nice illustrations and diagrams to help you understand concepts. I just wish it was updated more often!
IDEO's main blog. IDEO is a big player in design, and they have lots of good ideas. This site isn't just about services design or UX, it's more about design thinking and hwo to relate to design.
Service Design Melbourne runs heaps of events in Melbourne. It's good to check their site every few days to see what's coming up, or if you have missed an event, see what went down.
This site is all about what is currently happening in Social Media. Social Media plays such an important role in Service Design, UX and CX these days. Really well written and presented.
GOV.UK is the UK's whole of government website. They have an awesome design team with really good ideas, especially about design in governement.
Nielsen Norman Group is an organisation who conducts a lot of research into user interfaces and digital product design. They are a resource for evidence about best practices and research about different types of interfaces.
Anyone who has used InVision will get regular emails directing them to the blog. It has some really well written and insightful articles.
A great website with well written articles about user experience, testing and
UX Pin have some interesting articles, but the real reason to visit this site is for their ebooks. They're free and really useful!
Customer bliss is written by Jeanne Bliss and it's all about Customer Experience. New articles are published every few days.
